Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, easy walk from the station and a killer breakfast! I stayed here for a night to go in a Stonehenge after dark tour. The Stonehenge bus stops is very close to the hotel, but stops running early in summer, however an uber wasn’t too expensive and only a 10-15 minute drive away.

The Merchant's House is an excellent hotel located a walkable distance - with a small bag or backpack - from the Salisbury train station. The in-town tourist bus top to Stonehenge is just a couple of blocks from the hotel, so there's no reason to return to the train station to take the tour. The rooms are comfortable and modern with good Wi-Fi. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is superior to most I've had at English hotels in this price range. I highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a visit to Salisbury.

Very well-located and central. We were lucky and managed to get one of the free parking spots. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Fairly standard chain-hotel rooms with so-so beds and bedding - don't expect local inn charm. There was unfortunately a power outage on the whole street the morning of our stay, so we can't comment on their breakfast. However the hotel handled this situation very well by sending us to their sister-hotel for breakfast and refunding a portion of our stay.
