The staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was lovely and clean. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I’ve had and the chef cooks the eggs fresh to order. I had perfect poached eggs both mornings.

No coffee machine in the restaurant. I was hoping for a cappuccino, but had black filter coffee instead, which was nice.

Room very comfortable and clean. Shower/Bath was very old fashioned. Needs changing for a modern walk in shower, Bed was very comfortable. Towels soft and large. Fan in bathroom seemed to not go off after a certain amount of time. Had to switch it off manually. No drawer space in the bedroom which would have been annoying if we were staying for more than one day. Decent breakfast, enough choice of cereals etc and cooked food if required. Hot chocolate made with water which was a bit naff. Car park was very useful and we were allowed to leave the car until the afternoon the next day which was very much appreciated. Staff were very friendly. The hotel's position was perfect.

Bathroom could have had better shower. Bedroom needed drawers.
