One of the showers ran out of hot water

Good value for solo travellers wanting a private room.

Keyless entry to the entry points. Being locked out of my room , uncomfortable bed and pillows . Very noisy.

In my room the window didn’t open, which is fine, but it would be good for the hallway door to be opened sometimes to let fresh air in. The bathroom near room 11 could do with a fresh shower curtain or deeper clean. The bathroom looks clean but has a funny smell even w the window open. I stayed 4 days so it’s definitely there. I tried the other bathrooms which didn’t have this.

Not properly shown on Booking. Pictures must be posted from another place. Bed was the cheapest in the market, with one of those very light and sagging mattress. Linen were quite synthetic and don’t know when the blanket was washed last and for over $170, honestly, even in Melbourne, is too expensive for a just above backpackers place.

Hotel was clean and the person I spoke to re: room access when I wasn't sent the details via email was friendly and helpful.

Incredibly noisy from traffic outside (including trams), I barely slept the first night even with ear plugs and I used to live next to a train station. The music downstairs was very noisy on the second night too but it stopped at 10pm. I stayed mid week so not sure how noisy it would be on weekends. Mattress was uncomfortable and sagging and I needed to put pillows underneath it.
