Please note The Rose and Crown was built in the early 1500s, and is not accessible. The stairs are narrow and steep, and some of the doorways can be as low as 4.9 feet. Some noise from the bar may be heard in the rooms on busy weekend evenings. The pub is not currently open on Sunday and Mondays.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

We love the decor, it’s such a beautiful building too.

This is the second time staying here. Our first time was only last year, I feel like the property would benefit from a freshen up in some areas. The garden area felt a little worn and there were marks and some cracks on the walls in our room as well cobwebs, and this time the pillows were awfully uncomfortable. We paid £194 for 2 nights excluding breakfast and I feel this was a little overpriced this time.
