Welbedacht Game & Nature Reserve

This was the weekend getaway that we needed! It was an absolute treat and our souls feel so at peace. We spent so much time in the hot tube just soaking up the nature and beautiful views. From start to finish this weekend was spectacular and we will most definitely be coming back soon. The wildlife was an absolute treat to see and the host, George, just amazing! I

The scenery was breathtaking, surrounded by mountains and wildlife like springboks, zebras, and peacocks. The cottage was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had lovely touches like fresh milk, coffee, and chocolates on the bed. The hosts were kind and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

There was a mix-up with our booking on arrival and some difficulty getting the main gate to open. However, the hosts were very kind and handled everything quickly and professionally. The signal is stronger near the Tortoise Cottage but very limited at Gum Tree. It didn’t bother us though, as we went there to disconnect and enjoy nature.

Stunning views, great privacy, in door fireplace was a bonus!
