NOHO Hotel near Universal Studios Hollywood

There was more than enough room for 6 people, which was nice. However, there were not nearly enough towels or toiletries. I understand the building is old and despite the attempt at being otherwise the insides looked old as well. There is an old electrical circuit breaker panel visible and accessible, an old exhaust fan in the bathroom with tape still around it from painting. The blankets on the beds felt like window curtain material (luckily it wasn’t cold). The safety style electrical outlets were too safe and I couldn’t plug in my chargers. This may be nit picky but for the price I paid, a little coffee maker would’ve made all the difference. On the plus side, the water out of the faucet was cold and refreshing.

Best just for a one night quick stay close to universal holly wood stars 🌟 other then that room felt dirty was dirty sheets were unclean felt like a hole in the wall hotel. Parking very tight sketchy neighborhood but we made the best of it cause it was around everything. And not a family friendly hotwl.

My girlfriend and I stayed in room 208 for two nights, and we never had a problem. The room was clean. The bed was fresh and well made. The refrigerator was roomy. The bathroom was modern. The wash basin worked well. Parking is unfortunately subject to the property layout as it was built in 1962 when North Hollywood was still growing. If you drive a compact, you'll be fine. If you drive a full sized sedan or an SUV, you will need to employ some finesse, but you can still get around. Just keep in mind that there is only one driveway to get in or out. Plan accordingly. The parking lot in the back of the property is well lit and free from graffiti, but you'll see a lot of cigarette buts on the asphalt. That never bothered us, but for you it may be something to consider. Management/ownership is sensitive and responsive to guest needs.

This place is straight up disgusting. Mold in the bathroom. Stinks like smoke. Cigarette burns on the bed. So gross. Don’t let the fancy sign trick you . This place is straight up trash and should be condemned.

Front desk employee was nice and professional, guests at motel were loud and creepy, they would fight late at night and would stare at other guests uncomfortably.

Absolutely DO NOT book this hotel. I had my booking cancelled by the hotel just before I arrived at 9:30pm, even though the booking says check-in is from 3:00 to midnight. After the hotel canceled my booking without my input they tried to charge me a cancellation fee, and the front desk agent said he can’t do anything to reverse it. I was going to stay anyway, since the room I booked was still available so they canceled it for no reason, but the room was awful. It smelled terrible and was obviously smoked in even though it said the property was smoke-free. We did not feel safe or clean staying at this property, so we got a refund and left to book somewhere else. I then had to take time to work with hotels.com/expedia to reverse the cancellation fee. Overall it was a terrible experience, with unfriendly and unhelpful staff, and terrible customer service. Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT BOOK A STAY HERE!

I pick the option of 2 queens but when I go there it was just full size beds so I payed extra for nothing and the amenities listed was non existent so i feel like I wasted money and the bed sheets were dirty and bed was horrible. Also roaches

Terrible experience.when we walked in the room it smelled horrible.The bed had lots of hair and also stains.In the trash there was used condoms.The floor was dirty.Me and my family had a bad experience at that hotel.
