Oakwood Ha Long

The area was spacious and the greenery beautiful. The employees were friendly and helpful. If we needed anything, our needs were dealt with asap. A truly very good stay. They attended to all our needs in a great way. The food and breakfast buffet did not miss anything! Close to the beach.

There were very few guest, and we felt a bit alone. But this did not affect the service we got. Very close to the beach, however there were some clean-up on the beach, so we had to walk a bit to an area where we could swim.

Everything! The staff is more then amazing, very clean and beautiful hotel. The house is so comfortable for families! The spa is the maybe the best I’ve ever been! Thanks for a perfect holiday for us

Great spacious and clean houses, large pools, facilities are very good. Good for a shorter stay to visit Halong bay. Front desk staff very friendly.

Location medium, next time I would stay closer to Halong city. Restaurant staff seemed very unorganized, no service at the pool area, very long waiting times, leaving eaten dishes on the tables for hours, …

Our villa was exceptional. We were able to open a fourth bedroom at an additional cost. Master suite was stunning. Had our own pool which we used at night. Resort was very quiet so service was quick. Enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. An ideal one night stay before going on a boat cruise on Ha Long bay

The bikes you were allowed to use couldnt be taken out of the resort and they needed some TLC as tires low pressure and couldnt change seat height.

Over half of the dining and bars were closed. When asked if they would open the pool bar, they said no as it is low season. Had to walk to main restaurant if we wanted any service. Limited English skills from staff meant that basic requests took a lot longer to get what we wanted. This sometimes also made prices unclear.

The property was perfect in terms of available amenities, location, pricing, and view. My family and I truly enjoyed the villa. The hotel staff went above and beyond to arrange various shuttle requests, cruise and Spa bookings, and were most helpful when my husband was unwell. The Spa personnel provided superb customer service and massages. The breakfast was varied and delicious, as were the dinners we had at the hotel’s restaurant. The overall ambiance at the hotel was most pleasant. We will be certainly coming back here, in fact Oakwood Ha Long is the only place I’d consider coming back to in Northern Vietnam, we liked it that much.

There was no cutlery in the villa, but when getting room service the cutlery was provided, so it wasn’t that big a deal.
