Oakwood Ha Long

Alles, echt geweldig. In omgeving, is het strand het enige wat er te doen is. Verder heeft Halong niet veel te bieden

We only spent one night before our trip to Ha Long Bay! Really nice pool area (with foam party when we arrived). Really good restaurant and breakfast buffet.

The pool was really really hot! I have never experienced such a hot pool! The pool and air temperature were almost the same, so not much cooling when we jumped in the water. There was a cockroach in our bathroom, which had come in through the hole by the shower head. The staff were helpful in getting it removed 🙏

Great resort hotel with many things to do on site. Kids club was great and the kids loved the pool. We went to the spa twice during our stay and it was good too. Staff were friendly. Buffet breakfast was really good. We had most of meals at the hotel (decent, sure it was better outside) but we didn’t mind it. We have a 3 bedroom villa and the space was really great for our family.

Ha Long town seems really quiet. Abit too quiet and we found it eery at times. Nothing against the hotel. Just not a busy resort like ones we’ve stayed at before.

The water temperature of the pools was too hot

Good: 1. The entire area was beautiful, well maintained. 2. Facilities like the pool and gym were excellent. 3. Staff were very friendly. 4. Villa was fantastic, so spacious. Could improve: 1. Cleanliness of the villa. Not a huge issue but the sofa had some stains and there were used cigarettes on my bedroom balcony which my 3 year old daughter pointed out to me. 2. Music playlist at the pool repeated the same 3 or 4 songs on repeat. Please add some variety. 3. Biggest issue was the restaurant. We ate there twice not including breakfast. First lunch on the day of arrival. It was *fairly* busy but nothing extraordinary and we were told the food would take 40 minutes. Bigger problem was dinner the 2nd night - it took ages. There was only one other table when we arrived. Another table did come and got their food before us. It came about 1 hour after we ordered. To be fair, the staff were apologetic and the manager gave us some juice and cookies the next day to apologise. Maybe order ahead of going there as I think a lot of villas order room service, which seemed to cause the delay.

Only here for 2 nights but had a great time and experience . Staff very friendly and helpful.food in breakfast buffet had a very wide range of food to suit everybody .would highly recommend,lots of restaurants activities nearby .Overall had a great time

Had one of the best breakfast in The Market. Was served by Phuong. Very courteous and served us well. The rooms are very clean as well. We visited as a group of 9 friends and this place was perfect for us. Across the road yiu have the beach access.

We had such a great time at the Oakwood 4-bedroom villa! The house was clean, spacious, and super comfy. The pool was a big hit, and the whole place felt like a home away from home. Staff were kind and helpful, and everything went smoothly. Would definitely come back!
