Hotel Arcata

I liked how it felt to be in the center of the little town. It was a close walk to the college. That’s why we were there. Our kid is going to go to college there.

It was really old. I guess maybe that’s its charm. But super old. I got locked in my room because the old door broke. The knob wouldn’t turn to open door. I was stuck. Facilities were on it pretty quick though. It was fixed and the receptionist came up and was able to open door from the other side.

The location was convenient. I am glad the building is still in use.

Not worth the price.

This is a charming vintage hotel which is ina great central location. The staff were gracious and helpful. I stay here twice a year when I travel down the coast from Oregon and always look forward to my stay here

There is NOTHING to like about this dump.

A little dusty feeling

Loved the old-world vibe and that it is the middle of the quaint plaza square. Bed was comfortable.

I did not find the bathtub/shower very inviting. Very dated. Also, pedestal sink with no counter space and no mirror was inconvenient.
