Hotel Arcata

I loved the character of the building and the town square .

A lot of the stores/ restaurants weren’t open while we were there but there’s nothing you can do about that. I do think you guys can do better with the breakfast. Some different fruit and breakfast options would have been nice .

The location is perfect

It’s a historic building, and kind of run down. Very clean though, kind of like a trip back in time when bathrooms were really awkward maybe. Walls do not stop any sounds.

You can't beat the location in the middle of town on the main plaza which makes everything walkable. The shower is insanely good, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

I would have loved a small fridge and more shelf space in the bathroom.

The view sucked

This hotel is located right on the plaza in Arcata. If you are doing things in Arcata, it is walking distance to mostly anything you need. If you like nostalga, this is the hotel for you.

The room was a bit small and this is a really old hotel. The windows are single pane and the only heater was a little space heater you have to remove from the closet. It was a little cold in the room. Parking is also limited to street parking with a parking pass. No parking lot available.
