Gardner Farm Inn

Gardner Farm Inn is a delight. Its like staying in a cabinet of curiosities because the shared areas are filled with fine art, vintage photos, and interesting collections of antique objects and curios. It was so much fun exploring! The beds are luxurious and comfortable, bathrooms are beautifully updated and roomy. John was a great host and breakfasts were delicious (we stayed two nights). There are two greyhounds in residence and they are extremely calm, well behaved and very soft to pet. The neighborhood is quiet and safe on the outskirts of Troy.

We had a great stay on our Belmont/Saratoga weekend. John was an awesome host and was always in communication with me as I had to adjust my stay and arrival time. So accommodating. Room was amazing. Super clean bathroom and a huge king bed, very high ceilings and farmhouse vibe! The breakfast was fresh (cooked in front of me!) and delicious. Can’t wait to stay here again.

John is a standout host. He genuinely cares about his guests’ comfort and has clearly invested a lot of time and effort on creating an attractive and inviting environment. The location is easily accessible to downtown Troy and the many things in the vicinity, but it’s removed enough to feature spacious grounds and a relaxed vibe. On top of all, he’s a good cook!

Charming and kind host, immaculate room with wonderful linens/towels and cool decor. Delicious breakfast. I arrived a guest and left a friend! Safe, clean, warm accommodations literally 2 minutes from the RPI campus.

John is the consummate host. He stayed up late to allow for a late night check in, served delicious breakfast, and was the highlight of our trip to tour RPI

Fantastic stay. Cozy, modern, unique, welcoming, eclectic amd stimulating (if desired, as I did), relaxing. I could not have designed a more ideal bed and breakfast experience if I tried. John is the best host!
