It was okay I think you need more electricity sockets in the room

Just on an over night stay, arrived and got my room key at 15.15 had a freshen up and then back to the hotel by 10Pm. Good size double room all clean, tidy and just what i needed. tea and coffee facilities with the offer of more when i checked in. Comfy bed had a back room so no real noise. All in all a hassle free stay. Hotel is just off A1 on the edge of an industrial estate, pub next door and local food outlets near by. No food at hotel for me not a problem. if i was hungry or needed breakfast then perhaps not the place to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly face . The staff here are exceptional so helpful friendly and just great people . The rooms have everything you need all in working order .We stopped here for the Great North Run and the reception helped us with transportation to the event printing a document with all the buses and metro info not many would go above and beyond like that .

We stayed here for 3 nights for rugby League Magic Weekend. The hotel was spotless and anything we needed was met with a smile and a friendly face. The rooms were clean and the showers are amazing.The restaurant on site was excellent and plenty to choose from and was very reasonable, the breakfast was lovely. The staff are a credit to this hotel and worked very hard. Would definitely visit again.

It is the first time that I have ever stayed at a hotel that does not provide pillow cases. I slept on the actual pillows! It was supposed to be a luxury room: yes, a luxury room that provided only one coffee and one tea sachet each! I am given more at Travelodge!

We found our room very satisfactory. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help and were very friendly. They even provided an ironing board with no extra charge. Great place to stay.

Very basic but that’s what I expected for the price. Clean. Nice size room. Perfect to break up a long journey. Lady on reception was amazing. An absolute credit to the place. So helpful and friendly. Nice pub next door for dinner. No toiletries or anything but didn’t really expect anything for the price.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! Vicky was amazing from start to finishing helping me sort everything out. She is a credit to the hotel as are the other staff members. Really looking forward to our next visit

Great value stay with hotel just off A1 with handy Greene King pub next door for evening meal. Bed very comfortable and with free parking all around ideal stop over on way home and close to shops and entertainment as well

Jemma would be my reason to return for the helpful and willing attitude she showed, wanting me to have a perfect experience and wanting me to return again. On arrival I asked for a shaded room, and she went and checked the room and turned on a fan to cool it down. Jemma seemed vo want to be as helpful as possible Internet was very slow in the evening, and then the following morning it stopped working. Room was nice and cool on a very hot day. Large car park. Breakfast is just a "grab aand Go" at present..
