Embassy Newcastle, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Fairly decent functional hotel, staff friendly and helpful, good free parking, easy to get into Newcastle town centre.

Clean room, comfortable bed, staff very friendly and helpful, amazingly quiet considering it's next to a roundabout, decor a bit dated. We stayed for one night en route to Scotland and would certainly stay again.

Booked this as it had free parking on site, for an overnight stay whilst dropping off daughter to University. Rooms were very clean just as you might expect and the staff were very freindly, liked the look of the adjacent pub but as we spent the evening moving her in then out in Newcastle, and again over first thing in the morning did not get to sample it. Will book again when we are next up.

Two night stay to visit waterfront and Northumberland coast. 1st night awakened twice by van alarm parked outside window. Van then left at 4.00am. We're offered a room away from car park but as van was not returning stayed put. 2nd night found it difficult to sleep because of weight of duvet. However, staff friendly and helpful. Room good value and half price box breakfast made it worthwhile and saving a trip out for break.

I followed sat nav and arrived at the wrong one.. And I'm glad it was... Went uphill and booked into this one. Felt really at home straight away, love it here.Asked tor extra pillows and the girl. On reception with dark hair couldn't do enough for us, lovely girl, a credit to Premier Inn.Totallyenjoyed my stay here.

I was not staying at this hotel however I did ring through to ammend a booking at the pub next to the hotel and a lady called lily Ann was very helpful and went and sorted this out for me. I know this was outside her remit but it does show that she has great customer service

Stayed here for a few nights. I was overwhelmed by the attention from the receptionist (Vicky) nothing was too much hassle for her (and i think i was a demanding guest) always greeted with a warm smile and welcome. She really is an asset to the hotel! Rooms were spotlessly clean and cleaned to a high standard. Would definitely recommended this hotel and am looking forward to my next stay with these guys.

Had a lovely stay here, whilst we were helping my Grandfather move out if his home to come and live with us. ALL the team very friendly, from the reception team to the housekeeping girls. The Head Housekeeper was very friendly and genuinely showed an interest in why we were staying. Rooms immaculate, even though they are older premier inn style rooms. Couldn’t find a spec of dirt, and I really checked! Location is great for the A1 and Team Valley. Highly recommend, and thanks for a great stay.

Good location, good price, just a shame it’s for these reasons, party goers would choose this location. We’ve always had positive experiences with premier inns so far, this must’ve just been a bad time to plan a stay.

This small PI has always been the one I rate highest for it's customer service. A warm welcome and the most helpful team of staff. Decent rooms, car parking good and it's close to the A1. The adjacent Greene King pub is, however, a great disappointment and sadly it means I won't be returning to this very good PI.
