Ellan Vannin Hotel

Amazing hotel, great staff who are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again upon return.

The room and public areas were very clean and well decorated. The breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful. The only downside was the sound and smell from the kitchen extractor below our room.

Very good all round no complaints whatsoever

Lovely hotel on the seafront where we had a large room with a comfy bed and excellent shower. Managed to park directly outside although may not be always possible. Great location for the shops, cafes and restaurants and only a short distance from the sea terminal

Super hotel, we stayed in the sea view South suite, it was lovely, spacious, comfy beds, leather chairs with foot stools by the window, Netflix.

I stayed at the Ellan Vannin Hotel for a week and half while sorting out permanent accommodation in Douglas, and boy, am I glad I found them! The hotel itself is situated on the southern end of the Promenade that runs along the Bay of Onchan, in close proximity to all the restaurants, bars and shops one could wish for in a small town such as Douglas. The room - I stayed in a budget double room, no view of the bay (sadly) but still lovely - was modern and spotless with all the amenities one would expect... and then some, I was actually very surprised at the level of comfort I experienced, from the large television pre-programmed with everything one would need to the very comfortable padded rocking seat. Every single member of staff is friendly and attentive, they made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived and went above and beyond in accommodating my needs. Highly recommended to anyone, whether they are coming to the island on holiday or a business trip - I myself will definitely be personally recommending them to all my visiting friends and family. Thank you Ellan Vannin Hotel for helping to make my arrival to the island so memorable and pleasant. <3

This hotel was wonderful. We had the front sea view room on the first floor and it was perfect. It had a huge double bed, a settee to watch the large tv, a dressing table, plus two comfy chairs to look out at the sea and people watch. The staff on reception were really helpful and we had an all round great time. The buses went past regularly which were really useful to reach the opposite end of the promenade where the horse drawn tram and electric railway were located. The hotel is just round the corner from the only Whetherspoons on the island, plus there are restaurants along the front and shops are a short walk away. We had an all round lovely week. Thank you.

Mycket trevligt pittoreskt hotell på gångavstånd från färjeläget. Vi hade en bekväm vistelse.

This was an old building with beautiful architecture, a modern bathroom and a perfect location. There is no lift and the halls were a bit narrow so getting suitcases around was a little challenging but the staff was great and very helpful.
