Suites Tulum

This hotel has serious issues. They need to completely rethink their operations and undergo a full renovation if they want to meet basic hospitality standards. The photos speak for themselves. Summary: - Lack of organization. - The facilities are in a state of disrepair. - We couldn’t stay in our assigned room on the first night because it wasn’t ready, and the bed sheets were covered in someone else’s organic waste. - As a result, we were downgraded to an inferior room for that night. - There is constant, loud noise from nearby power generators throughout from 9pm to 8 am. - The pool is little and dirty Room Conditions: --> Our room: - Rusty furniture. - Mold on the walls (which is a serious health hazard). - The locker was broken. - No privacy: thin, faulty curtains are the only barrier between you and other guests, with the room located near the pool and main atrium. - Constant generator noise (acceptable here) --> Downgraded Room: - Rusty furniture. - Mold on the walls. - Loud, constant generator noise measured at over 70 dB (equivalent to heavy traffic), making sleep impossible, even with earplugs. - The Wi-Fi was really faulty. - The shower had no water pressure. General The staff claims the generator noise is caused by a neighboring property, yet they fail to disclose this in the room description and seem to be doing nothing to resolve the issue. They also blame the poor room conditions on the surrounding jungle, but it’s clear that proper maintenance is simply not being done. Conclusion: Terrible experience, the only jungle sounds you’ll hear are power generators and chainsaws.

The views were amazing, the room was clean and comfortable, loved the rustic feel, the shower was hot and with good water pressure Ivo was lovely and helpful as was Nicholas and there was water we could drink in a dispenser on every floor

The pool could’ve done with a little clean

Our stay at this hotel in Tulum was simply incredible! The hotel truly captures the atmosphere of this magical place – very atmospheric, with a beautiful design that perfectly reflects the spirit of Tulum. The rooftop, with its fantastic views and pool, was especially impressive – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, creating an instant feeling of coziness. We also appreciated that the air conditioning was already on when we arrived, cooling the room perfectly, which was a great relief given the heat outside. A special mention goes to the staff – everyone was very friendly and always ready to help. We’re especially grateful to Nico, with whom we communicated via WhatsApp. He took exceptional care of us, responding quickly to all our questions, constantly checking if everything was okay, and offering help with anything we needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect getaway in Tulum!

Shower was 8 times out of 10 with luke warm/cold water, despite most rooms being empty. Water pressure was also low. We felt the building and room would benefit from some TLC - deep clean, small renovation to bring it back to its glory. During our 8 day stay, we killed a mouse, a cockroach, two scorpions in the room and an army of mosquitos. We believe that closing the gaps under the door room and making sure the mosquito nets are properly attached would prevent this. We are aware we are in a jungle area, so our "parfume" was insect repellant and we ended up sleeping with clothes on to prevent bites.

Great location, good benefits with ties to local beach clubs and restaurant. Staff were super helpful and friendly (thanks Nic!) and the rooms are well designed. We used the roof pool which also was relaxing and a great space.

Mosquitos. However they're everywhere in this part of Mexico, not the hotels fault. A good repellent applied before bed helps. WiFi was a little poor in our room but we worked around it.

It’s very intimate.

The pool is very very small. There’s no designated check in, and the beds aren’t comfy at all. I understand you are in Mexico, and there are constant power outages, but you would expect the facility to have a generator. Power went out for the day, and they was zero communication in regard to as why. You have beach access from another resort, but you’re expected to spend an allotted amount of $ at the bar/restaurant to use any of their beach facilities. Their “free” part is walking through their resort to the beach. Overall the place wasn’t bad, especially if you have a large group and am on a budget.

Loved the birds NEST. Did go there for sunrise and set allmost every day. Family loved this stay. Go to Zebra beachClub Down the road for a day on the beach. Great Food and service. Also Eat at restaurant Loco. Great Food. But a bit expensive. Perfect service from Nico!
