"Overall considered it value for money paid. Decent hotel stay"

Friendly and helpful staff. Large clean bedroom Comfortable bed. Breakfast of cereal and hot breakfast options. Good location in Market Place and to another pub across the road which was part of the same group. We took evening meal at the hotel and enjoyed it.

Shower room had a slight smell but reduced with fan on. Bedroom curtain let light in and noise from traffic on road so, if sensitive to these, advise bringing eye mask and earplugs.

"One night stay "

The room was clean & tidy, the door was very hard to open from the inside, due to the carpet, the shower fixings were a little stained with water which made it look a little old, but overall, a lovely stay for one night, the room had everything we needed & was clean & tidy, the breakfast was also good.

"Excellent location in attractive town near historic attractions."

The location was ideal for us with bus stop outside for local journeys. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The choice at breakfast was limited, no fresh fruit, yoghurt or variety of pastries so English breakfast only. The car park was small.
