No coffee in rooms. Turned on heat and was run out of room from the burning mouse piss on the heater coils. Burnt my nose and made me gag.

USTo begin with, this hotel is good. It is pricey, I must say. My biggest turnoff is the passages in between rooms across all floors. They stink so badly that I develop goosebumps before getting to my room. My nostrils are super sensitive, and I react to odors of all kinds, even my own sweat. You can then imagine how I bolted out of the building in the morning while going for breakfast. I had to go out to the street to regain my breath. When I came to the reception, I was only able to take two bottles of Minute Maid and coffee before leaving the place. The staff are very good people, ranging from the old man who checked us in to the man with the special instrument that allows him to speak. They are all pleasant people who knew their drill very well.

I left the above on Google; however, it is very disappointing that instead of addressing the concerns I raised in my review, the hotelier chose to issue an unprofessional and racist reply. In doing so, he indirectly admitted that the hotel’s corridors do stink, yet attempted to excuse it by blaming my choice of room, time of business, and most shockingly, my being a Nigerian. None of these are rational explanations for poor facility management. For clarity, I have lived and worked across three continents, and I have stayed in and reviewed hundreds of hotels through Google, Expedia, Booking.com, and other platforms. Never have I encountered such an unprofessional and racially charged response from hotel management. The reply does not only confirm the facts of my review—that the hotel corridors have a bad odor—but also exposes a troubling attitude of racism toward guests. To readers: the hotelier’s words speak volumes. When race becomes a factor in service delivery, professionalism and hospitality are abandoned. The man managing the property was rude and unwelcoming and also was obviously on some kind of substance as his behavior was odd and unsettling. He was acting awkward towards my 12 year old autistic son and staring at him in a way that made me and my son very uncomfortable

The AC fan was not working. Got another room, was a lil bit better When I called about a week before the man was very rude, was upset that I used booking.com, how they had to pay them 20%.
