American Inn Ozark

I tried to cancel this reservation and u asked for money to cancel. Lesson learned. Will never use u again. Shame on u!

By FAR the worst hotel and hotel experience. I have a service animal because I have services that require an animal. The host threw papers in my face, told me to get the f*** out of there hotel and that they have nothing for me. Then told me that we have to accept their new hotel room that was double the price and charged me for my service animal which is illegal. I was shaking because I was scared of this man. He was screaming he was violent and I did not know where he was going to escalate. I paid for the hotel and paid for my service animal because of this. And then when I got the hotel room it smelled so bad I had to go to Walmart to get something to get rid of the smell. They're betting is horrible, I don't think they wash it. It was itchy and it smelled. I went and got new linen to lay in. I will be reaching out to Expedia, better Business bureau, and leaving reports on every review option I can. Not only is this not a good hotel it's a dangerous one. I was coming here to check out Missouri and see if I wanted to move here and he was the first person I experienced when I got here. If you feel like you need to stay here cuz there's no other options reach out to me and I will find you a different place. No one should have to stay here.

I liked that I had stayed there before, but I also wish I hadn't.

Well I did not get anything close to what I booked, and I was charged $90 more than what I was anticipating. It was disrespectful for the staff to treat me like I was Satan's spawn. I only asked for towels. I felt like I had no privacy, cuz there was always someone "working" right outside my door. I left after one night cuz my guest and I felt very judged, and discriminated against. I honestly feel like I deserve a partial refund, but doubt I'll see anything.

First of all when we got there, we only wanted to stay for two nights, but you guys charge me for three and my daughter wanted to go swimming and the pool was not up and running so we had no pool and that’s one of the reason we stayed there because they had a pool They had no phones in the room so you couldn’t call the desk.

Overall it's what you would expect from a cheap motel, except if not in the lobby or your room the hallways were extremely stuffy no moving air at all. Also the refrigerator wasn't plugged it nor did the cord reach the outlet.

Unfriendly and not clean, hallways had odor and the internet didn’t work.

Terrible customer service worse than I’ve ever had! Beds were terribly uncomfortable, the most flat pillows I’ve ever seen and the walls are paper thin. These people are so rude. I cannot believe they even have a business. They threw my credit card at me and told me I could go somewhere else. And then when I called them back a couple days after to ask them for a detailed receipt they said they didn’t have a computer system to do that! What in the world! Then they hung up on me when I was trying to question them about it.

The beds were so soft the water pressure and shower was amazing also. Both receptionist were awesome!

“Breakfast” was honey buns and cereal.

My Room on the second floor was very dated, felt like I was in a 90s throwback. Carpet had a weird Odor and was stained in multiple spots (never walked on the carpet without my crocs). Bed was clean enough. Both chairs in the room were dirty and stained.
