American Inn Ozark

When I got checked into my room, I found out the air conditioner fan wasn't working. I went back down to the front desk. They immediately found me a new room (upgraded at no extra cost). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is not an elevator so that's a negative but I made it. Some great antique shops that are right there.

Absolutely the worst place ever, upon arrival I was told there would be an extra fee for our dog, our dog is a registered service dog so I brought in the required paperwork. The guy at the front desk kept pointing his finger at thr paper telling me he needed extra money, I informed him it is illegal to charge extra for a service dog. At this point I was informed that I was not welcome with my dog. Then he reported to booking that I was a no show. I will never stay there and will do my best to keep others from booking here too. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I would describe our accommodations as sufficient.

NO NO NO……I will not recommend this place to anyone except to sleep indoors in a clean bed (questionable) to get out of the rain. No breakfast Continental or otherwise as stated, No coffee maker in any rooms (That’s not American in my book (American Inn). It also stunk . I even bought my own air freshener just to sleep. And for the price I paid, I should have been returned at least half of it

It is a nice place to stay and the staff are kind to help. The facilities are just fine. The price is reasonable for the motel and the location. Customer satisfaction is their top priority. The breakfast was great too!

This is no longer the OYO. It’s American Inn as of August 1st. So I had to pay AGAIN for my stay because I booked in July. I’m waiting for OYO to refund me my payment but as of right now I’m out almost $600 on a 4 night stay. This should have been communicated to me so I could have had the time to cancel my booking and find somewhere else to stay. Obviously they haven’t told Hotels.com that this change has been made.

It's July and there was a padlock on the gate to swimming pool. Staff did not know why and no offer to find out. We had picked this motel over cheaper rooms elsewhere because of pool.

Went to the front desk and told the man I had a paid reservation with hotels.com and he would not accept it. He told me you pay here if you want to stay here. He was tired of waiting on hotels.com to pay him. Needless to say with a car load of kids at 10pm I paid him again to stay there. Please remove this hotel from the listings because he is screwing people over.

Good service, clean room , around the motel was quite.
