We really enjoyed our stay! The Vista Suites are huge. Food was really good. The staff were all great! Minnie is just a gem and so is Henry!

We had an amazing time at this resort. Eric Ho Bowman was the first grade us took care of all of our needs. The staff (NAIA, HENRI, HOSUE, JEREMY), ESTRENITA, CHRIS, JOE & FITO) were so hospitable, warm & friendly! We will definitely be back!!!!

The whole experience is wow! The resort is very intimate, easy to navigate around. The views here are amazing. The rooms are so spacious, with a lot of balconies. The location is 10min from the airport. There are several restaurants and the food is stupendous! Nick made fresh healthy juices every morning. We will be back.

Christie did an excellent job of house cleaning. She was friendly and cheerful and answered any questions we had. The hotel, pool, and food was excellent. All staff were very friendly and accommodating

We had such a wonderful stay at Alaia and really enjoyed the entire experience, but we especially want to highlight some of the staff at the Sea Salt restaurant who made the trip so memorable. Every morning, Nick brought out the most refreshing natural juices and it quickly became something we looked forward to every day. Not only were they complimentary, but he also gave us great suggestions for things to do and eat around the hotel. What really stood out was how knowledgeable he is about the juices themselves, the ingredients, and their benefits. He would listen to how we were feeling and then make a recommendation that always turned out perfect. We honestly think it would be amazing for the hotel to create a separate juicing station so guests can enjoy his creations throughout the day. It is such a special touch. We also want to mention Maria at Sea Salt, who was incredibly kind and attentive at breakfast. She has such a warm presence and always made us feel welcomed in the mornings. One day we mentioned a small issue with a bill from the day before and she immediately stepped in to help. Even though it was not her responsibility, she went out of her way to track it down and make sure it was fixed. She came back with everything sorted and made sure we felt completely comfortable. That kind of care and attention really meant a lot to us and turned a small frustration into a positive experience. Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful, but it is some of the staff, like Nick and Maria, who truly made our stay feel personal and special. We cannot wait to come back.

From the moment we walked through the door into the gorgeous lobby we knew this was going to be something special! We are Marriott people that travel ALOT and this one first not disappoint! We were first greeted by Shea at the front desk who was bright, friendly and very helpful. She checked us in to a beautiful 4th floor ocean view suite that was full of sunshine, very clean and huge. The AC was ice cold, the shower pressure was great and the water was hot! Eric lead us to our room and he fast became a friend. He shared stores of his life, the island and everything in between! He is a treasure to this property!!! What a special man, he greeted us by name every time he saw us to see how our day was! The concierge was wonderful! Made renting the golf cart on site easy and quick! You need one to get around the island. They were all wonderful and helpful in making sure it was gassed up when needed and that we had everything required. Security were all friendly and visible even though we felt safe on property at all times. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained too! Pool, swim up bar, cabanas, chairs and umbrellas, beach, spa, nightclub, fine dining….they have it all! We would absolutely come back and stay at this resort! They made our time here extra special! Thank you for a wonderful time!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. I stayed on the reef side and was not aware that it would be so outdated. It is evident that Marriott bought a property that was owned by another group and then refurbished it so it does not match the aesthetic of the main part of the resort which was a bit disappointing. The fixtures were old, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, and the air conditioning cooled the main area really well, but that did not seem to translate to the bedrooms. The service here was great! I will say the food was OK, the prices were not as bad as I thought they would be, but the service by the cabanas could be better. When you spend $150 renting a cabana, you would expect your server to be there taking your order and not having to go to the swim up bar to place it. As someone that has been to San Pedro five times let me give you some advice, do your research! This hotel does not have direct beach access, there’s like a sliver of an area that you can access the water, but it will not be the beautiful beach that you think. You will NEED A GOLF CART or you will have to take a cab, because nothing is really accessible that is in walking distance. One thing I wish is that the hotel would have enforced the rules that they had in place for example people were using portable hookahs/vapes near the pool and they were also blasting music from their speakers, and I feel like this just impacts the overall experience for all of the guest when people are doing things that go against the rules that make public spaces a place for everyone. The resort is a good size, I don’t really like a huge resort so if you’re looking for something larger, this would not be for you. Bring the strongest bug spray you can find because San Pedro is essentially surrounded by still water and this really attracts mosquitoes. Despite my best efforts I have serval bites. I got a body scrub at the spa and I really enjoyed the service, however, this was the first body scrub that I got that did not come with a full massage/moisturization after the fact. It only included a full body scrub, and then after the shower, they put the lotion/oil on my back only and for $235. I just expected a bit more.
