Our experience here was amazing! The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The staff member Eric was so nice and made us feel very welcomed. Can't wait to come back.

We will be back—10/10 on every aspect of our visit. Hotel was beautiful, loved that the two different pools had different vibes, and every meal we had was excellent. Easy commute to the downtown restaurants and shops. Celina at the concierge desk was super helpful and made booking our excursions a breeze—it’s also a wonderful convenience to have a boat dock on property for some of the best snorkeling excursions I’ve ever done. Eric was on it with shuttle service and assistance with baggage. The villas have the most beautiful view of the ocean. Thank you to all who made Alaia a wonderful experience!

Hotel was amazing! Perfect location to downtown and the service from the bartenders and all the restaraunts not to mention quality of food was excellent! Shout out to Elvis who was very helpful and always going above and beyond!

Eric at front was the most amazing host!! He helped my family so much when only one room was ready. He has continued to be extra friendly every day!!

Alaia and their staff were truly amazing. Me and my wife had such and wonderful time in this clean, friendly, and safe atmosphere. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. Eric was the most professional and warming person we’ve met as soon as we got to the hotel. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful surroundings, nice decor, nice amenities. There was real bad odor in our initial unit. We were moved to another that was much better.

Odor.

We had a group of friends stay here for 3 nights, in 3 different rooms in 3 different buildings. We stayed in the Vista1 tower, on an upper floor. The resort is very nice, and the staff is awesome. Especially Sanchez and Kaylinn at the swim up bar. The pool is great - perfect temp with lots of chairs around. We were there off season, so not sure how crowded it would be in busy season. The hotel is not really walking distance to the center of town. Located near the south end of the runway, it has great views of the water and reef. There's not a lot of sights/attractions walkable from here. Taxis to town were about $12 US/pp one way. Our room was a studio, so just a bed and a bathroom, but very comfortable. Shower was roomy with a nice showered, but very finicky to get the water temp right - it's either scalding, or just a little too cool. Bath towels are some of the biggest and nicest I've ever encountered. The toilet needs to be tightened to the floor as it clanks every time you get off of it. We heard others had the same issue. The bedside table were a bit worn, but had lot's of electrical and USB outlets. The fan and lights are a bit confusing, and the bedside clock time was wrong, but could never figure out how to set it. Large tv and small fridge both worked great. The beach bar deck was under construction so it was closed. The Sea Salt restaurant was nice for lunch - never tried it for dinner. We ate breakfast at the pool bar several times and the food was good - fresh, hot, and large portions. Ate dinner twice at the roof top bar area. Again, food was great, and the drinks are strong. My biggest concern, was the fire sprinkler heads. They have been painted over and are rusted. Only an issue if you need them in a fire, but it shows the attention paid to fire safety. The door frame to the fire stairs was quite rusted, and the door handle was completely missing, but the door did open if pushed. As a retired Fire Marshal, these things catch my eye. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and prompt. Service was always good, even if the crowd at the pool bar slowed down the drink delivery a bit. Overall, not a bad place to spend a few days, but could use some maintenance to uphold it's reputation and safety.
