The Swan at Forest Row

Initial reception by the staff was good. The bed was comfortable and the room facilities well appointed. The evening meal was good pub fare.

The room overlooked a major road junction and was quite noisy and the curtains failed to exclude the light sufficiently to get a decent night's sleep. We had booked bed and breakfast but were told by a somewhat grumpy member of staff that breakfast was not offered on a Monday. In fairness we were given a rebate on our bill. In order to take our dog out last thing at night we had to use a fire exit that proved difficult to open from the inside and impossibe to open from the outside; my wife came down from our room upstairs in order to let me and the dog back in.

Really warm welcome ..budy place everyone was very friendly and helpful ...food lovely too ..the room was nice overlooking the church very comfortable with tea coffee water lovely big bathroom shower and lovely towels Really pleased and would recommend

breakfast didnt start till 10 and although we chose to have it we needed an earlier departure so didnt have it

The bedding was sooooo comfy!
