Friendly welcome

Lovely comfy bed and great shower with good tea, coffee choice and filtered water provided. Friendly staff and the location worked for our visits to Hever Castle, Chartwell and Brighton. We ate there and food was fine and good value.

The village itself didn't have too much to offer, the other pub there was grim and was on a busy through road.

Nice shower and comfy bed. Riley the manager was best of the staff.

Not as advertised. Property a quite a bit rundown and in need of some attention. Communal areas smelled of food as no door into kitchen which was by stairs leading to bedrooms above.

The room was pretty nice

The lack of a proper door to the bathroom, the noise from the band bellow the room and then the noise from people till gone midnight. Also the burger Pattie was nothing like the picture it wasnt nice at all. I had pre booked to stay on the 23rd and would have been arriving late they apparently don’t have late arrival facilities so for that reason and the above l have cancelled the reservation.

the room was very dusty. you had to walk pass the bins and th back of the property to access the room.

Location for work The young girl on breakfast was fantastic

Staff were miserable from walking in (apart from the breakfast staff) The bed was very uncomfortable There was a constant banging noise coming from the other side of our inner door , was it from the below kitchen? Cooler? Aircon ? But unless your a heavy sleeper YOU WONT SLEEP Easy breakfast was overnight oats it had NO FLAVOUR I could imagine it was like Oliver Twist “can I have more” CERTAINLY NOT no flavour apart from the apple and banana on the side. For what we experienced it was overpriced!!!!!
