"Charming"

A lovely friendly pub, great location for our purpose which was cycling London to Paris and possibly the most comfortable beds i have e dr slept in.

WiFi patchy which was a problem for me as I needed to work. But give yourself a night off and stay.

"Nice staff, but overall only fair."

Staff were friendly, but due to short staffing. Very stretched.

The fire door out of the the dining room did not open, and because the internal dining room door was padlocked shut, this meant we were locked in to the area including the restaurant & bedrooms. Had there been a fire we would not have been able to escape. Even the staff member who let us out was unable to open the fire door when we complained to her.
