Very central with parking which is helpful

We stayed in the Balfour Suite which has its own independent entrance and is lovely once you’re inside but 2 slight problems the bins and the extractor fan.

Problem with breakfast and layout of room

Brilliant breakfast. Comfortable room thoughtful earplugs for the main road.

The fire escape door needs urgent attention as a matter of safety. It was impossible for me to open when I wanted to leave early in the morning to get an early flight. Although on my return the following week I was assured the door was never locked and the manager demonstrated by giving it a huge shove to open it, I was still unable to do it myself. It would be helpful to have full blackout curtains on the windows as the street lights are very bright at the front of the building.

Staff were friendly especially the manager and the place was lovely. Food was good, nice local wine

It was very hot but it was roasting outside so not the hotels fault. They had provided a fan which was thoughtful and helpful
