"Beautiful stay!"

What a beautiful stay. It was spacious, clean, and the full authentic Japanese experience. The stay was beautiful and was very impressed but the authenticity of the stay. I highly recommend!

I was a bit confused about the check in process. I didn't realize the check in location and the actual hotel stay are two different addresses, so please keep that in mind. They were able to help me check in, despite that problem.

The location was great as it was just opposite the bus stop for the 50 Bus that you can take from Kyoto Station. This made it very easy to commute. We could check in at the property itself with a doorcode, which made it very convenient. We loved the private, wooden onsen-like bath with courtyard, and the traditional ambience of the tatami matting and furnishing. The showers were hot and refreshing after a long day seeing the Kyoto sights. Location is great for ramen, sushi restaurants, and a supermarket just around the corner allowed us to stock up on breakfast foods.

Given that we were a party of five people, there could have been more attention to making sure there was enough crockery, glasses, cups and cutlery for us. There was a badly chipped mug (one of only two) that I had to throw away because it was unsafe to use.

Really nice accommodation! The staff was really helpful. My son forgot his phone in a taxi in Tokyo and thanks to them we were able to recover it!

"Charmant ryokan parfait pour 4 personnes."

Charmant Ryokan, parfait pour 4 personnes, propre et bien agencé. Chambres agréables et bel espace commun. Machine à laver / sécher très appréciable quand vous restez plusieurs jours.

Equipement insuffisant pour 5 personnes : très peu de vaisselle, 2 verres à pied seulement, pas de machine à café ni de grille pain pour le petit déjeuner. Le 5ème couchage était sur un futon dans le salon!

"loveee the place!!"

this place was so nice and clean. the onsen was soo good as well. really recommend this accom. if i come back, i will book this again!

only thing i didnt like was the toilet seating. it wasnt heated :(
