"Very disappointing for a Marriott Hotel."

The room was very small for 2 people. No where to put your belongings. One elevator was broken and being on the 7th floor it took forever for it to get there. I can go on but I'll stop here.

Moxy was a great stop for a quick trip to Oakland. The hotel lobby is a great spot to meet with friends prior to going out any time of day. My bed was super comfortable and the room was plenty spacious. The elevator was really slow (and one was out of service) so I took the stairs multiple times which is fine by me. I'd definitely stay here again.

"Disappointing stay due to numerous out-of-service amenities, but decent location"

It was difficult to fully appreciate positive aspects of the stay due to the number of functional issues encountered. The cleanliness of our room itself was acceptable.

Several essential amenities were out of service throughout our visit, which was very inconvenient. This included: At the bar - coffee/expresso machine, oven/toaster, beer, etc. were all out. It was more likely to find something that was out of service due to lack of maintenance then find something they offer. Constant issues with the elevator. Only a single one available during our week stay. Doesn't seem to follow Marriott's standards.

"Excellent"

All staff was friendly! Room was a good size. Elevators slow and one wasn’t working. Bar isn’t open except for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Coffee in lobby was lukewarm. Parking isn’t valet, a security staff members meets you at parking lot across the intersection to provide in/out access. They were out of the beer that is complimentary for guests. Not sure I would return but again all staff I encountered were great.

I liked the chilled vibe throughout the place. It was extremely laid-back.
