Palacio Provincial San Juan, Adults only, Curio Collection by Hilton

This was our first time staying at Palacio Provincial, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We chose this hotel based on friends’ recommendations, especially for its unbeatable location in Old San Juan and it exceeded all expectations. Palacio Provincial is an adults-only boutique hotel with just 43 rooms, which creates a very intimate and relaxed atmosphere. From check-in, Raúl was outstanding, welcoming us warmly and explaining the property, amenities, and the complimentary rosé wine at Consular Restaurant. Our room (235) was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered a lovely view. The location is perfect, restaurants, bars, and entertainment are all just steps away. Breakfast at Consular was excellent, the Rooftop pool views were breathtaking, and the complimentary daily rosé served from a vintage cart was a chic and memorable touch. Evenings at the Atelier rooftop were a highlight, with great cocktails and live DJ on Saturdays. The entire staff was attentive, professional, and truly made our stay special. During our time in Puerto Rico, we also visited El Morro, El Yunque Rainforest, Toro Verde Ziplining, and dined at several wonderful restaurants including El Jibarito, Bari Restaurant, La Lanterna, and others outside Old San Juan. We also spent an evening at Distrito T-Mobile, enjoying live music and a variety of dining options. Palacio Provincial has officially become my favorite hotel in Puerto Rico, and I will gladly recommend it to family and friends.

Location was perfect in the middle of the old town of San Juan near the ocean. Staff were very helpful! Special commendation to Raul and Andrea of the front office.

Large room. Excellent beds.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated really well! We loved our corner room on the second floor with a very comfortable Hilton King Bed! Dinner at the restaurant the first night was excellent. Raul and Adriana and Carla plus the rest of the staff did a wonderful job of hosting us - especially during Rose Happy Hour! The rooftop pool is small but manageable and we spent a lot of time in the hot tub meeting other guests and enjoying the sunset and evening views. The public spaces are pretty and well taken care of and the hotel is in the heart of Old San Juan. No need for a car!! We definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel’s unbeatable location and its beautiful rooftop pool are definite highlights, offering the perfect setting to relax and take in the charm of Old San Juan. The service throughout my stay was consistently attentive and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A wonderful property and a must-visit when in San Juan!
