"Westin Tempe - great choice in Tempe"

The Westin Tempe offers a great, relaxing and convenient business or personal travel option in the heart of Tempe's University district. Convenient walking to restaurants and businesses in the area. Rideshare has to access carefully through construction area but isn't inconvenient or delayed. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee available on the first floor.

"Frat Party"

Came to ASU for my daughter’s music audition. I figured the Westin was a standard business/family hotel type option. But from the minute we arrived it felt like we were crashing a frat party. Drunk kids stumbling around in the hall at 8 pm. We went down to the (mediocre) restaurant to get some food and it was impossible to get an elevator upstairs afterwards because there were just tons of students using all the elevators to get to the rooftop club. I don’t know if it was a special event or what, but honestly it feels like Vegas and it is kind of overwhelming. I get that it’s a college town and everything but we just weren’t expecting this kind of scene for a high stakes weekend. Maybe it’s helpful for my kid to realize that even if the music program here is great, ASU has a certain reputation for a reason…

"Would book again"

The Westin is located right on the ASU campus, near restaurants, hikes and bars. Very welcoming, when you check in they give you several coupons for the restaurant, bar and coffee shop in the hotel. I used the majority of them. The room was very comfortable, clean and I was the 8th floor so it was nice and quiet. They don't offer free parking which meant moving my car from street parking(free parking at night). One of the reasons I stayed here was for the pool, I was very disappointed when one of the nights I planned to use it, it was booked for a private event - a pool party and that meant everyone was using the elevators. The pool area is very nice - towels are at pool. Rooftop bar was nice good drinks, pool restrooms were clean.
