"The best in downtown Tempe-- enjoy the rooftop pool and views."

What a wonderful hotel. There are a lot of choices of places to stay in downtown Tempe, but I think the Westin is the best of the best. From the time we pulled up and the valet was genuine and helpful, through check in and our entire stay- the service here is first class. Our two rooms overlooked "A" mountain and were comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar are a real treat- we had a lovely afternoon up there. Even in December the weather in Tempe is fantastic, so it can be enjoyed year round. The onsite bar and restaurant are also great.. and it's nice to have a ton of places within walking distance to enjoy, too. We loved it here and would definitely stay again the next time we're in Tempe. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Great location! We went to Gammage auditorium for an event. Nice walk. Our room had city views which were amazing!

Minor complaint - floors in room weren't clean. Rest of room was great!

Selected this hotel as it is close to the airport. Nice hotel, beautiful room, friendly staff. Convenient on-site valet parking with unlimited in/out, especially if you have an early flight. You can also park across the street. Very clean and comfortable. Really like their lightly scented tea soaps and lotion.

"A Comfortable Stay Near ASU"

I stayed at the The Westin Tempe for a few nights while visiting my son, and the location is excellent for all things ASU. There are plenty of great food options within walking distance, as well as additional restaurants just a short drive away. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I did experience an issue with the TV and contacted the front desk later in the evening. They promptly sent someone to troubleshoot, and the issue was resolved quickly, which I truly appreciated. The hotel offers complimentary drinks at the bar, including non-alcoholic options and house margaritas. While I appreciated the gesture, I was disappointed with the margarita. The bartender shared that they had recently switched from making them from scratch to using a pre-made mix, which was noticeable, as the drink primarily tasted like sour mix. As someone who has bartended for years, that stood out to me and was my only real complaint. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.
