Hotels.com promoted a room with balcony & thats why we took it. The room had no balcony, they gave us a room with window facing a wall (6 feet away). The bathroom smells sewage because the plumbing was done poorly. Cleaning lady came to clean, she never flushed the hair my gf left on purpose to see if they'd clean! 3rd day, we left on an excursion at 5am when we came back at 22h45 the room was upside-down the same way we left it. No clean towels, smelly bathroom, no room service done! The lady at the front desk was helpful, she tried to help which was appreciated but it was not worth the money i paid for...

Location was the only good thing about this place

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place if you want to enjoy your holiday. I really wish we read the other reviews properly before booking. The place is very outdated and dirty. My toilet seat had wee all over it when I checked in and when I asked for housekeeping to clean it, they arrived and just wiped it with a rag and no cleaning product. I then used a baby wipe to wipe the seat and it was completely black with dirt 🤢. The WiFi didn’t work and the shower water was cold. The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding and towels were of questionable cleanliness. The pool area is dirty and outdated and not at all like the photos, none of the photos are anything like the reality. After reading the reviews about hotel staff coming into rooms and stealing things from the safe and room, we kept our valuables on us at all times, I recommend you do the same if you unfortunately have to stay here. Upon checkout, they charged us a lot for some marks on a towel that was already dirty when we arrived and that will come off in the wash. But we were prepared for them to do this anyway as we knew they were sleazy scammers. Not sure where they got their 4 stars from, must have bought them with all the money they stole from guests 🤷🏽‍♀️

The location is good; close to 5th avenue, so central. The sitting area of our suite was well-decorated. Other than that, I’m struggling…

Curt staff, hard beds, poor Wi-Fi, no bottled water provided in rooms, questionable cleanliness of bathrooms, a temperamental door lock (locked out of bedroom for nearly an hour), and toilets without toilet seats. But most of all, having 420 pesos deducted from an unexpected deposit that was taken upon arrival because my son’s girlfriend got makeup on a face towel.

This hotel is so special because of the style used in the planing of the suites. The staff is not pretentious, but simply kind caring welcoming and truly caring about your comfort. The rooftop pool area is very usable and nice but they are in the process of renovating so not perfect. The neighborhoods is quiet because it is at the northern part of 5 th avenue. Still close to the action if you want to walk a few blocks. The neighborhood is in transition boho chic. In a few years we won’t be able to afford to stay here..haha, but seriously. The best beach stretch for walking is one block away. The real people of playa are here along with the expats who are here for winter. Eclectic crowd. Lots of doggies in the surf.Mexicans love there dogs. So do we. Cheers!!

Very nice staff really helpful. Our room’s coffee machine was broken and they got another right away.We were short on forks and knives but got some very soon after our request. Our coffee mugs were both cracked so maybe dishes need to be checked for chips etc Layout of unit great . Good mattress . Would stay longer . All rooms don’t have balconies ,you must request a room with one if important for you to have one. Super neighborhood, quiet and more a regular atmosphere not like busier part of 10th Avenue. Would come back.

Stayed alone for 2 nights. The price was right! Cute rooftop pool, very walkable to shopping beaches and restaurants in the area. Felt safe, clean and had all the basic amenities you need, friendly helpful staff as well
