Mission Pacific Beach Resort, part of JdV by Hyatt

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Mission Pacific Beach Resort, the conference I had been planning for months went extremely well. Everyone's attention to detail and quick response times made everything so simple, and the property is absolutely stunning! Special shout out to my contact Nevan Leckman, he is great to work with!

The hotel experience at Mission Pacific is beyond amazing. At every turn we enjoyed the awesome ocean views from each venue to sea breezes that nurtured our soul. Our oceanview room although small in square footage felt spacious and inviting due to a well thought out layout and classic decor. There are a handful of good dining options in Oceanside, but Mission Pacific delivers several diverse and accessible culinary experiences which will invite you to stay on property for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s Conde Nast So Cal #1 for a reason.

I reserved for two days for an event that was happening at the hotel. After I made my reservation, I realized I could extend my stay for one day before and one day after the original reservation. However, because the group rate was not available on those days, I ended up having to take three separate concurrent reservations. Then, a few days before my stay that for the first night, I would be bumped to another hotel. I would have to check out and then move back to this hotel for the last three nights. I spent over an hour on the phone and finally had to speak to a “manager”, who finally allowed me to stay in a single hotel room for the entire four nights. However, once I got there, I found that I was locked out of my hotel room every single day. I had to go downstairs, stand in line, check out, check in again, for my key to begin working again. The hotel is so lovely, and the views are beautiful, but this experience just ruined My whole visit. The staff were utterly powerless to help me. it was very disappointing

This is a pretty hotel with a great location and good views. The train tracks are close and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful and convenient location. We had a suite overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed hearing the waves and watching the surfers. Staff were so helpful, even bringing us a mini fridge to cool off our drinks. Would absolutely stay again

My family and I had an amazing experience as usual. The staff is the best and the views, food and beach services are amazing.

This property is truly a gem and the hospitality is off the charts! Everything was pristine and the decor was California coastal cool. The Piper breakfast buffet was special and so was The Rooftop dining experience. The rooms were immaculate and the views of Oceanside were perfection. All of the amenities left nothing to be desired. It is a very special property and it is my new favorite for North County San Diego. All of the staff is exceptional as well.

One of my favorite hotels anywhere! Mission Pacific is truly incredible — from the stunning, spacious rooms to the vibrant rooftop bar and outstanding food, every detail feels thoughtfully designed. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the phenomenal level of service. The staff are genuinely warm, attentive, and go above and beyond to make every stay memorable. Special shout out to Erick and Tyler, who consistently go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. Their kindness and professionalism set the tone for the entire experience. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough — it’s a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and heart.

Beautiful resort with an amazing location. The property and staff are top notch. The rooftop pool bar has excellent food and drinks. Probably the best "pool food" you will ever have. The rooms are gorgeous. The views are superb. But the price is definitely on the high side for the value, especially for the studio rooms, which is where I have stayed twice. But if you can afford it, this really is a great resort. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is our room got a little warm at night, and I'm a fussy sleeper. I think they may throttle back the in-room air conditioning at night to be more Eco-friendly. For the price, I want a freezing room at night! But the bottom line is that I will stay here again and again.
