The setting is beautiful, but the same couldn’t be the same of the room, it smelt damp and mouldy

I only had tea and toast, I was served with a smile but it seemed tasteless! There was no raspberry jam so I had strawberry which is not a pry but it tasted of nothing. The butter was ice cold. It wasn’t a welcoming environment.

The bar/restaurant was cold I had to keep my coat on when I had dinner. Wine was over priced for that environment. It seemed uninhabited, most of the time.I hardly saw anyone. It looked shabby and unkempt.

The room was lovely, nice comfy bed. I prefer the rooms with a shower and not a bath, but that's because I find it hard to get in and out of the bath. But both sorts of rooms are clean and comfy

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, large room.

Despite being able bodied, we were allocated a disabled room whose bathroom was much in need of modernisation. TV didn't work and there was no one on reception when we checked out, with whom we could have raised these points.
