They moved us to a different room straight away when we said we could hear the music from next door

Lovely comfortable warm room just the right size for a weekend stay. Excellent breakfast. Located just the right distance from town to not be kept a lake by street noises or pubs. We managed to park on the street around the corner so not too far to walk.

Great place to rest your head, close to town.

Unfortunately, there was a strong smell throughout, not a very nice smell. We were in room 18, and the bed was so noisy. Every time you turned through the night, the noisy would wake you up. The shower had seen better days and so had the decor.

1 bed had a memory foam mateess... the others had broken springs

It is in desperate need of refurbishment there were wires hanging from the ceiling for the tv that didn’t work. Although there was tea and coffee the kettle still had water in it from the last occupants and there was no milk. The ceiling had tiles missing and stains from a previous leak. We arrived and rang a number from the sign on reception a lad asked our name came out of a door gave us a key for room 8 (the door was very difficult to lock) told us where it was and that was it. One of the plug sockets was broken When we left there were plates on the reception desk with half eaten food on them.
