Staying at the hotel put us right in the middle of the action for the party in the Park to kick off the Holiday season in Savannah. We had front row seats to the Lighted Boat Parade and the Equinox Orchestra

Great contemporary hotel with nice amenities and Food & Bev options. Room was clean and well-appointed with a nice decor and comfortable beds and linen. Welcome local brew was a well-received nice touch as we had just drive for a long time and got in too late to go out. The hotel has nice amenities as well.

I booked 1 King Bed, Corner (Riverfront) via AMEX FHR, and had a late check in. After finished dinner and relaxing on the couch. Suddenly spotted that these was a medium size cockroach 🪳 crawling on the carpet. I called front desk to inform the cleanliness concerns, a staff came in shortly after to take care of the issue, I also asked to clean the carpet. All I received is apologies from the front desk in the phone, and nothing else. The hotel is overall pretty nice, but if you have serious cleanliness concerns, try to avoid choosing this one.

Our second time here and it was just as good as the first! The front desk personnel is efficient and knowledgeable. MacKayla helped us and I remembered her from our last visit. She was perky and friendly, made some great recommendations and gave us a great room! Everything about this hotel is first class. Lobby bar, rooftop bar, Fleeting Restaurant, gym, pool, room and amenities. We would never stay anywhere else in Savannah!

Although not a downtown hotel, this Thompson hotel is a riverside hotel in a quiet and newly built neighborhood. Staffs are friendly. We felt very respected the entire time. Room is quiet and clean. Shower is great with large and gentle wate flow. Valet is friendly and usually deliver car soon expect the last time when we were checking out, it took 20 minutes.I am sure that is a coincident. You do not actaully need valet as there are ample steet side city parking spot acrossed the street. Food choice is very limited. Dinner at hotel is almost non-exist during Monday and Tuesday. Breakfast at the top floor is only average. Servers are busy but very friendly, food is not tasty. Overall, I would very recommend this hotel is price is reasonable.

We truly enjoyed our fist stay at the Thompson and will definitely return. We are avid travelers and appreciate a fine hotel that offers not only beautiful rooms, cleanliness, nut so many amenities snd such a warm and friendly staff from room stewards to waitresses and front desk, our stay was memorable!

Wonderful place to stay right on the river. I’m an early riser (4am) and the concierge, Kennedi, made me a cup of coffee walked me to my car, etc. She went above and beyond to make our stay top notch! Thank you so much for everything! We will be back

Absolutely loved my stay at the Thompson Savannah. Beautiful property with stylish rooms and stunning views. The restaurant on the main floor was so good that we ate there twice during our three-night stay. The rooftop bar had amazing views and a fun vibe. Special shoutout to Sarah, who made our breakfasts and lunches feel like we were dining with family. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!
