Hotel location is perfect next to the rover, hotel staff is welcoming, very good breakfast options, good size cozy rooms. Overall a good budget friendly stay.
10 out of 10 for the staff, who were welcoming and helpful. The location of the property is very good for exploring Rye, a short walk away. The room size was good, however the window locks are old and ineffective, and I noted a fire door propped open, giving people access from the street. Needs some money spent on it to bring up to standard, but as I said, staff were great.

i had room 17 at first there was hair on the towels and stains in the bath so i had to change rooms as my daughter has medical needs i dont usally had a problem staying at this hotel but this exsperance i was not to happy with i fill bec it was a cheep room the standards were dropped and i fill that all rooms should be comfy and beds well maintained with nice warm blankets me and my daughter were both cold and the beds were really unconfitable so wasant a very nice stay
Very enjoyable couple of days. Friendly hosts and tasty breakfast cooked to order. Clean and comfortable room. Plenty of parking. Excellent location for town. Sadly evening restaurant no longer operating but plenty of other eating options within short walking distance, including a lovely Italian.
We had a lovely stay. Perfect family room for 4. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Amazing cooked breakfast. Would stay again next time we are down here.
