RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort

My husband booked this accommodation for two nights as a special surprise for me. well a surprise it was we checked into room 2207 lovely ground floor room with views over the golf course then after a lovely dinner in the dinning room we retired to our room and the nightmare began the bed was broken one leg missing as I found out the bed was old and it was worst bed I have every slept in I was remiss for not contacting management as soon as possible but I thought only one more night and never again. On checking out I did notify management and they said they would replace the bed so I pray if you are booked into room 2207 you check and you should have a new bed well I hope you have. Sunny the manager offered me a very special room if we returned well hell will freeze over before we return to RACV Healesville . There was one positive note the staff in the bar and dinning room are wonderful but the dining room is like a school dinning room boring bland BEIGE no other colour so if you like beige you will feel right at home but unfortunately beige is not my colour. In total we spent $888.00 for two nights with some meal it was not value for money even thought the views were lovely.

The breakfast was okay, could have been better with more options. However i think there were not many people staying at that time, so maybe thats why.

Nice location and scenic

our experience was overall average, breakfast buffet was ordinary, no towels in pool area, requested one but the staff refused to provide. that's disappointing

This hotel is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley. The setting is very picturesque. There is a golf course and it is possible to walk around the property which was lovely. The room was large, with plenty of cupboard space, a couple of armchairs and an outdoor terrace with a table and chairs. There is a good selection of glassware from which to an enjoy a drink on the terrace. We had dinner in the casual restaurant and that was very good and represented reasonable value for money. There is also plenty of undercover parking.

Food and service for dinner and lunch was ordinary. Much better to eat in town. There's a shuttle.

The location is great, the rooms are comfortable, and it’s a nice golf course. But, the food is inconsistent, and service is dreadful. For example, we ordered an ‘heirloom beetroot salad’, and it came with flavorless beetroot and chewy rocket. We couldn’t finish it, and it’s a salad we make regularly at home. The risotto and linguine we chose were mediocre. The staff seem disinterested, don’t know the wine list. There should be proper training and supervision. I strongly recommend eating in town.

Well appointed luxury hotel, suitable for short and longer stays. Ample parking, friendly and competent staff. Quality of buffet breakfast well below par on this occasion.

well well hello to the best place i have ever stayed in my life . ive been in hospitality industry for over 40 years ,and never have i been so satisfied . this place is a must if you want good value for money and impecable service and views that will leave you breathless thank you to all the staff wonderfull experience
