Fairmont Taghazout Bay

We stayed at the Fairmont Taghazout Bay as a group of three families—10 people in total—and had a fantastic experience overall. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with Moroccan coastal charm. Our rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable—perfect for families looking for both relaxation and quality time together. Service throughout the hotel was generally good—staff were kind and professional—though occasionally a bit slow, especially at peak times. That said, the beach area more than made up for it. The service by the sea was excellent: attentive without being intrusive, and always with a smile. The beach itself is pristine, with soft sand and calm waves ideal for both kids and adults. A special highlight was the sunglasses cleaning service on the beach—a small but delightful touch that really sets the Fairmont experience apart. It’s the kind of thoughtful detail that makes a luxury stay feel even more personal. We also really enjoyed the food, both at the beach and in the main restaurants—fresh and flavorful. The spa treatments were quite good—relaxing and professional—though not exceptional by luxury standards. Still, a very enjoyable experience overall. Be careful on the wet floors, they can become very slippery. The only slight downside was the room service, which was a bit underwhelming in terms of quality. That said, once we raised the issue, management responded immediately and took care of it efficiently, which we really appreciated. This is a wonderful hotel for families looking to unwind in style, with just the right balance of luxury, comfort, and location.

Great hotel for a family holiday. Located near Tamrhakht where there are lots of local cafes to explore - delicious fresh food. Staff are very friendly especially Abdel, the sunglasses man - as he calls himself. He always has a smile on his face!

We had a great family stay at Fairmont Taghazout Bay. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very relaxing for both kids and adults. We especially enjoyed the pool and the calm atmosphere. A special thanks to Baskar, the lifeguard, for his amazing service. He was always there to guide us, responded quickly whenever we needed help, and made us feel safe and well cared for. I had a wonderful stay at Fairmont Taghazout Bay. The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The family pool was our favorite spot clean, refreshing, and well managed. Special thanks to Mohamed Baskar, the lifeguard there. He was always kind, professional, and made us feel safe and welcome. Great experience with service and beautiful property!

We recently stayed at Fairmont Taghazout Bay and had a truly wonderful experience. The whole place is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing vacation. One of the highlights for us was the family pool , it was always clean, calm, and such a great spot to enjoy the sun. What made it even better was the excellent service we received there. The staff were attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. A special thanks to the lifeguard Mohamed at the family pool , he was not only professional but also very friendly and kind, especially with the kids. You could tell he genuinely cared and made everyone feel safe and welcome, which really added to the experience. Fairmont Taghazout Bay is a place we’ll definitely come back to. The combination of luxury, great service, and a warm atmosphere made it an unforgettable stay.

Beautiful resort, which was very comfortable and never felt busy. Service was very good. Shout out to Houcine who was delightful. Areas for improvement: 1. Water should be complimentary in the room, I was very surprised to see a price list for bottled water which I did not expect. 2. The hotel umbrellas do not have fasteners so as soon as it gets windy (and this is common in Agadir), the response from the staff is to put down the umbrellas which leaves very few places for shade. If other hotels can secure umbrellas when they’re open then surely the fairmont can invest in this! 3. Despite having three restaurants, there is nowhere serving Moroccan dishes, which is a real oversight. We had to leave the hotel to have tagine, for example. 4. The prices charged for food by the pool far exceeded the quality - a club sandwich was 270 dirhams and was very average, and it should be nicely presented and taste amazing for that price! 5. Service was attentive but a la carte dishes at breakfast were slow every day (20min wait for eggs for example).

Fantastic new yoga and wellness program in the spa. The Sunday night sunset yoga 🧘 with Stephy and breath work with Sam were my favourite sessions. The Ariel yoga was also fun and a great workout. I also had a 121 bio hacking session with Sam which was great to see what was going on internally and how I could improve my life and health from breathing better. Fairmont is the best hotel I have experienced in Moroccan in every way. The staff are exceptional. Huge thanks to the spa reception staff, especially Yassine, a lovely warm welcome every morning. Highly recommended.

We found the hotel to be welcoming and extremely comfortable. We had a sea view room which was in a great position, near all the amenities but also very quiet. The restaurants were all terrific, service was very good and the food was excellent. Our only complaint was the the room service (cleaning) was poor but once we asked for the room to be cleaned early the hotel was very obliging. unfortunately the larger pool was not heated and too cold for us(!) but the children's pool was lovely and warm. Pool staff were delightful - in fact all the staff everywhere were charming. The hotel arranged for a car to take us into Agadir which made the evening really enjoyable. All in all, the hotel is a delight.

This is a terrific property. The rooms are excellent, the pools are super, and the variety of restaurants is more than sufficient. The service could be a little bit better. For example keeping the rooms restocked with coffee and drinking glasses. Also a free shuttle to the golf course would be helpful Rather than having to order a taxi each time.
