Heart of the City - FREE PARKING

Pretty central location.

The spiral staircase wasn't especially easy to navigate with luggage & my friend has mobility issues, so it wasn't easy for her. The lift wasn't working either. The bedroom was downstairs, it was dark as some lights weren't working & quite loud during the night with people passing by down the alleyway outside.

Parking was not near accommodation. 10 min walk with lots of luggage through busy town centres

Perfect location to explore York. Exactly in the centre. Great that it has a full kitchen with everything you could need. Heating worked brilliantly and great that it could be controlled room by room. Loads of helpful information and really responsive hosts. Parking was a real gem especially in the centre of York and is only a 5 minute stroll.

The stairs are very narrow, but it’s York so understandable.

The apartment itself was dirty. All cutlery had food on and dirty. There were stains on the floor, sofa and other surfaces. The toilet on the main floor was locked and unable to use. The spiral staircase was very steep and not ideal.. The parking advertised was a good walk away from apartment, when I returned to the car, there was another car right next to mine so I was barely able to enter my car due to the spaces being so close together. Did not stay the night due to how unclean the apartment was!!! Would not recommend this apartment. Desperately needs a good clean and furniture needs updated.

Whilst I loved having free parking, having the parking off sight was not completely the best.

We booked this for it's central location.

Not being able to park up at the apartment to drop cases off, it was only a 7min walk but not nice in cold wet weather. It was confusing trying to gain (find key box) access into the building, once inside no directions to find the apartment.. Luckily we only booked one night... Uncomfortable double bed so didn't sleep well. A strange smell in bathroom and in need of reburbishment. Spiral staircase isn't ideal... The full apartment just quite grubby, needs some tlc.

The property is in a great location to sightsee around York. Beautifully presented with excellent modern facilities including a full kitchen & washing facilities.

The parking is abit far away, but good to have nonetheless.
