Heart of the City - FREE PARKING

The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need and tidy its right in the town centre so very convenient.... the hosts were friendly and very helpful we paid extra for romantic package as it was our anniversary and it was lovely 😍

The bed was quite uncomfortable, springs in mattress dig into you I'm sure with a new mattress it would be better , the remote for the TV wouldn't work properly, I could smell cigarettes we don't smoke so definitely wasn't us and I didn't like the spiral staircase just because I'm 21 weeks pregnant and it's a bit steep also not the hosts fault but the lift wasn't working

Great location, right in the middle of everything. Hosts were quick to resolve issue we had. Apartment was clean.

No mention of spiral stairs in description, as someone who struggles with mobility at times this was an issue. No spare toilet rolls left. No welcome book- QR code not working on welcome board. Only able to access 5 channels on the TV and unfortunately BBC was not one of them.

The view over Edinburgh Castle, all the added subtle touches such as umbrellas, the furnishings, fruit, flowers etc…

We do like a larger bath sheet but that’s being picky

Facilities amazing

Access is a lot of stairs - no good for me who had a back injury - biggest let down is stairs to downstairs bedrooms . Very tight and unable to carry bag down at same time so had to leave clothes upstairs . No TV in bedroom either which is a struggle to get too as mentioned previous

Lovely decor, very clean and had everything you needed. Located in a perfect location to sight see. The hosts were lovely, replied quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend

The spiral staircase was very narrow and disorientating to walk up and down. My mother had difficulty with this. The free parking was a bonus! But with luggage was further than anticipated to walk.

Although free parking is available, it is not on site parking, it's a 7 minute walk away. Access into the property is on the first floor (up a flight of stairs because the lift is out of order). The bedroom and bathroom are down a narrow spiral staircase, so I wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. The booklet in the apartment states that complimentary gin and tonic is available, that was not the case. The fridge/freezer was switched off at the wall and the power was in a hidden spot behind the microwave (same for the washing machine). There was an empty washing capsule box, so no washing facilities really unless you take your own detergent on holiday with you. Cleanliness was poor, it felt like staying in a student share house where the occupants are at a stalemate about the cleaning schedule. The only good thing was the location, very central. Overall, I wouldn't recommend.

Good location in the centre, bed was very comfortable and parking included was handy. Luke was friendly and allowed us to park a few hours early.

Didn’t feel very clean, there was a party hat left from previous people under the settee so it hadn’t been cleaned well and the place had a bit of a weird smell. Bit gross when you look closer at areas and definitely needs a bit of renovating. Stairs to get down to the room a bit awkward, wouldn’t be good for someone with mobility issues. Also quite a few lights didn’t work so it was quite dark.
