SAND DIAMOND HOTEL

hotel was nice enough. Had a smallish pool which we didn’t use. Nice restaurant. Large room with safe. Comfortable bed. However, it was surrounded by a large fence and there were guards at the gates. Attached to it was a small mall for ordinary things, not large stores, and again there were guards walking around. Not a great area. Felt unsafe to leave the hotel area.

Great improvements from my last visit in September 2023, just 5 months later and i had an excellent stay, keep up the great work in making your Hotel a great stay.

Clean, quiet, excellent food

This hotel could be a nice place to stay if they would keep up with its maintenance. The furniture (in the room) is dirty, stained, disgusting, the shower has what looks like mold or dirt in the shower, the shower heads needs to be replaced, the drapes are dirty/ dusty, and most are off the rods making it difficult to open and close. They're NO available suites, as they keep saying, those are being remodeled ( 2 yrs ongoing). I stayed at this hotel several years ago after they had recently opened. Fast forward to 2022, the hotel has deteriorated so much that I ended up checking out early after 2 room changes because of the lack of keeping up with simple maintenance.

Very clean, very good location within Colon because you’re close to everything!

The property facilities is very poor. The property needs an emergency upgrade, it is falling apart.
