Best Western Colfax

Clean, staff was very kind and helpful.

The power went out and the generator didn’t turn on.

Convenient location

Outside grounds had broken bottles and trash

Breakfast was good, location was nice

Generator could have been ready when electricity went out instead of using a vehicle to charge battery, a/c was noisy, bathroom had rust, light in bathroom would not turn off.

Bed and pillows. Clean and nice condition.

Good location if you need to visit the area, most of the front desk employees are really nice

Not super clean, says it’s dog friendly but the pet area is gravel and gross (cigarettes and trash everywhere), breakfast was not good and half of it was cold, and, worst of all, the power went off one evening so they left everyone to sit in the dark for a couple hours and didn’t offer any compensation

Easy access clean inside

tv was very confusing to use, and no instructions. 2 remotes. It took me 15 minutes to get the programming I wanted. Also there was only hot water in the bathroom sink.

The high ceilings

When we ask for new sheets because of a spill they put on our old ones with the stain back on the bed and then made the bed so we didn't know till way in the evening. Smh

I booked online for two nights in Colfax, NC. Somehow the reservation was sent to a Best Western in California. Was not happy.
