The Lodge Lake Chelan

The hotel is super cute and very clean. Lote of fun games and a nice pool. But the refigerator, microwave, and coffee maker didnt work until my husband found the circuit breaker in the closet and fixed it. Also the tv didn't work because it would not connect to the internet.

The room was extremely nice, very clean, it had all the amenities you would need. I would definitely recommend the facility. It was nicer than many of the “ chain” hotels.

No elevator, no staff, self check in on APP

The reservation system is HORRIBLE. Cannot speak to a human; routed to the Phillipines (or it sounded like we were); no one at the front desk ever. Requires to register online with photo, drivers license, etc even if uncomfortable doing so. Constant texts asking us to register. The room smelled musty. They assume everyone is checking in around 4, for us it had to be 9:30 pm. Received 2 notices saying “it’s not too late to cancel.” Why? The hallway lights are extremely bright, no ambiance. The management needs to understand that someone needs to be there. You cannot automate everything, and even if you can, maybe you shouldn’t. No closet doors. The lighting in the room and bathroom were also extremely bright and unrelaxing; thankfully the bedside lamps had at least one soft option. One USB plug in.

I booked this hotel for two nights but checked out after the first night because the experience was awful. When I arrived at 4:30 pm, I was given a room code, only to find the door open and dirty towels everywhere—the room hadn’t even been cleaned. I had a wedding at 6:00 pm and planned to use that time to get ready, but instead I had to wait 15–20 minutes since no one was at the front desk. When an employee finally arrived, I asked why my room wasn’t ready. Instead of answering politely, she yelled at me and my partner, accusing us of “blaming her.” She was the only staff member available—who else was I supposed to ask? A simple apology would have been enough, but she was rude, unprofessional, and showed no accountability. Another staff member eventually moved us into a different room but never explained it was temporary. Later that night, while I was at the wedding, I got two missed calls and a voicemail saying I had to move out because that room was booked for someone else. This was never told to me earlier. I had to leave the wedding to move all my belongings while staff stood by watching. The hotel provides no safes, and in the rush I lost my gold necklace. The next morning, I checked out early and forfeited my second night. The staff are rude, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and stay anywhere else.

The wifi was sporadic.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lodge at Lake Chelan. It was a very nice, newer property. The whole facility was exceptionally clean and the room and bathroom were spacious. The decorations in the room, hallways and reception area were lovely too. I would stay there again.

It was a last minute booking but the hotel was very nice and the room had way more space than we expected. Bathroom was also very large with a his and her sink. Very nice accommodations, would definitely stay here again!
