Hotel AJ Gran Alacant

Arrived at the hotel around 10:30am thinking we were not able to check in until 2pm ish but no checked in and in our room by 11am, staff were lovely and the whole hotel very clean. Their only downfall was breakfast not much choice but being where they are lots of places to eat anyway or if you wanted grab your own things from one of the 3 local supermarkets. It was nice to go for a quiet break

It was a very nice hotel. Very clean. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. It was a little out of the way but that was our choosing and it was also good value for the money

Lovely hotel right next toain shopping centre and bars in Gran Alacant. Very clean and rooms very modern as was hotel.

Was not disappointed with this hotel, we travelled as a couple and for 4 nights. Close to the airport so no lengthy transfers, the staff were always so friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, clean and modern, and cleaned every day. Breakfast was totally adequate, which set us up for the day. There is loads of bars and restaurants in walking distance, and a Lidl where you can get everything. Top tip don’t bother bringing toiletries as Lidi have it all saves space in your luggage. Pool was lovely always space, best of all no sun-bed wars! We will definitely come back again it was ideal for a short break to recharge.

Fabulous break to chill and relax, all amenities 5 minutes away, you cannot fault this hotel. I choose an beautiful suite with my own kitchen it was superb, beautiful balcony got the sun all day.

Came here based on other good reviews and was not disappointed! Staff at reception were lovely and really helpful. Our room was on the second floor and was spotlessly clean (housekeeping was great throughout our stay too) Spacious bathroom with hand and rainfall shower. Air con, hairdryer, mini fridge with complimentary waters. Bed had a decent mattress and was really comfy. Although the hotel is near a main road you cannot hear the traffic with the balcony door shut. The balcony has seating and a rack for drying clothes. The rooftop pool was just lovely. Plenty of sun loungers and also kept really clean. The only negative is there’s very limited shade by the pool. There are two fixed shaded areas at each end of the pool but these can only fit 4 maybe 5 sun loungers underneath. More shaded areas please! We only had snacks from the restaurant; margarita pizza and nachos. Both were ok. The hotel is conveniently located near to shops and restaurants so plenty of choice. Can highly recommend the Chill out Grill Restaurant which is a 12 minute walk from the hotel. The local bus stops are 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The number 1 or 3 bus takes you to the nearby beach and only costs €1.60 All in all very impressed with this hotel.

Excellent stay. Spotless room, large balcony and easy accessible to bars/restaurants etc. staff friendly and helpful. I only had breakfast once, it was €12 and lots of choice. Pool nice and refreshing with sunbeds. Was close to where my family live so was perfect. Will definitely stay again
