It was perfect for us we took my mum who is 82 and the shower was perfect and all on same level . Definitely book to stay again. Charlotte was amazing we wanted a late check and was happy to accommodate thank you so much

The bungalow is absolutely beautiful. The interior has been finished to a very high standard. It looks as though it's recently been refurbished. The views from the kitchen and living room look out to the Abby and harbour while the rear of the building has a lovely garden. We received a nice welcome pack, tea, coffee, etc and Charlotte kept in contact right up to our arrival. Our visit was out of season, and it was exceptionally cold, so it was great just to be able to relax in the comfortable surroundings. It was like a home from home. There were four of us in our party and we would definitely stay here again.

It was only a few minutes wallk down to the harbour area, which is great but coming back up was strenuous.

Lovely and quiet. Very good location, close to the main town. Lovely obliging host who checked in frequently and recommended a great restaurant. Spacious living and kitchen area. Appreciated the biscuits - delicious.

No outlet in either bathroom to use hairdryer. Needs more towel hooks. Couch seats were unsupportive; very saggy. We would have appreciated some soap or body wash; coming from overseas we didn’t expect to bring this. It may be standard to strip beds in the UK but we have never ever seen this previously - generally the cleaning cost covers this. Unusual when you are on a vacation.

The bungalow was absolutely first class, comfortable, modern and spotlessly clean. Beds very comfy. Facilities excellent if you are there for a longer stay. After a long day out great to come back too. Large comfy sofa and great large size TV. Hosts were great, thoughtful and comunication was superb. Would love to return one day. Can highly recommend Fletchers Rest.

Nothing, all was great

Very clean and surprisingly spacious for a bungalow. It was in a great location only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Whitby. You had all the amenities you’d want for your stay in a modern well designed refurbishment of a bungalow.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like however there were a few things that could have improved our experience. A shelf in the en-suite to put toiletries on. A few hooks to hang towels on whilst showering. In the shower again somewhere to put shower gel and shampoo. These are minor points only to improve further a lovely holiday accommodation.

Exceptional property - very clean and modern feel throughout. Parking on site. Beautiful garden with table/chairs - great spot for a late afternoon drink. Well located with easy access into Whitby. Great communication from owner regarding check in/out details and local knowledge on restaurants and things to do whilst staying in Whitby.

The property had everything required that you would need for a comfortable stay! The small view of the Abbey and sea from the kitchen windows was an added bonus!

When we arrived after a long journey! We had a random packet of biscuits as a welcome pack! There was no tea or coffee to eat them with though which quite honestly for the price should be essential! Absolutely no excuse for no shower gel shampoo and conditioner also essential always provided elsewhere in rental properties! The last thing you want to do when arriving is go shopping?! It was not that convenient to town although advertised as such and a horrendous hill to climb up from the centre! It’s not what I would call walking distance!
