The food it’s horrible!

Let me start by saying. I’m fortunate to have traveled the Caribbean often. I’ve been to Mexico many times over the last 20+ years and Isla Mujeres several times. I’ve stayed in everything from 5 star all inclusive to some down right outdated DIY hotels. Casa Del Jaguar didn’t miss. From the reception to departure everything was handled perfectly. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful through out our stay. Sonny (spelling) our waiter on the beach every day was on top of everything. We never went thirsty or hungry and although busy, he still had time to converse and answer questions about the area. The beach is conveniently located and beautiful. The infinity pool is situated so that it has a great view, it’s clean and very refreshing. One room had a minor AC issue and it was handled within minutes. One day we had some sargasm blow in on the beach (Mexico is horrible with it right now) and they had a crew of 40ish people rake, and wheelbarrow it all away before 8:30am. I can’t say enough about this place or the staff. If I had one thing I would make someone aware about is that breakfast, while great food, it takes a while. If you’re laid back and in vacation mode, it’s not an issue at all. If you’re in a hurry to get somewhere, you may want to grab something on the go.

The property was in an excellent location right on Playa Norte beach which is the best beach on the island! It was quiet in the evenings and just a short walk into town for dinner in the many restaurants. The bedroom was huge, the room and all of the amenities were great & the bed was very comfortable. Staff at the hotel reception were very friendly and very helpful. A particular thanks to Diego on the front desk who was fantastic!

The breakfast service in the beach club (next door) was very slow and the staff at the beach club doing breakfast service seemed uninterested. Whilst the a la carte breakfast itself was very good, we waited over 40 minutes both days for our food. This was a bit disappointing!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The beach that it is located on is beautiful, and I loved how guests were able to get day beds easily & not have to fight for them. The room was big & clean, with great AC. Staff was always available & friendly.

Proximity to the beautiful water. The front desk staff was very helpful and professional. With our reservation we got a free drink coupon to use at the restaurant. The beachside server, Sunny, was great! Cocktails were great! The restaurant was close and our server Rogelio was very nice! We had use of beach side lounging furniture. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. We had a balcony with partial beach and water view. They also have a spa across the street for massages.

It was a bit inconvenient to go to the front desk each time you need a beach towel. It would have been nice to have a beach towel station or a couple beach towels in the room. I would also recommend “table fly propellers” since we are in an area where there are many flies and it’s inconvenient to have to keep using your hand to swat at flies. If they put the propellers in the middle of the table then we won’t have to constantly be swatting.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Such a lovely hotel and such a wonderful attentive staff. Truly loved our visit and would love to come again.
