Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed — the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. The hotel itself is stunning from the moment you step inside – beautifully designed with impressive interiors. There are several restaurants to choose from, ranging from Japanese to Chinese cuisine, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of options and great quality. The only downside was the bathroom. Although the rooms are beautifully decorated, there was some mold in the bathroom, and the tiles didn’t seem to be cleaned properly. It’s a pity, because a hotel of such a high standard should maintain better cleanliness.

The perfect base for Mt Bromo and other sights in East Java. High quality and perfect service at the mecure hotel in Malang.

Superb hotel with excellent staff. Great extensive breakfast. Excellent wifi, bed & rooms. Good gym incl spinning bike. Excellent coffee and cake at the coffee corner. Diner is good but not very appealing as the places are too large vis-a-vis number of dining guests. Nevertheless the hotel is great and I recommend it as hub for either Bromo or Sewuk. Relaxing at the hotel thereafter is heavenly.
