Everything about Newbridge was as we have come to expect. Comfortable and well-equipped room. Excellent food & wine. Friendly & efficient staff.

Literally our favourite place to go! We have been 3 times now and love it. It’s so peaceful and quiet. Food is also incredible ! Just wish I could afford to stay longer than one night

The rooms are a collection of lovely “cottage type “ situated in the grounds - all beautifully furbiished to a high standard and extremely comfortable- I honestly think they have thought about everything. Beautiful setting by the river with stunning views

What is there to not like about luxury spaces and a beautiful setting just off the main route into Cardiff and its environs ? We didn’t stay long enough

Beautiful setting, the room was beyond excellent. There was no way it could have been better. The continental breakfast was great and the lady who looked aftet us was wonderful.

Main issue was really about how our meal ended in the evening. We felt that the staff had forgotten that we were there. It was unpleasant and far from relaxing. They seemed to just want to get everything done and go home, it felt we were in the middle of their frantic effort to get everything done in setting up the morning and staff getting out the door. This is an excellent restaurant but this really let it down. We have been here before so we know how good it has been. Disappointing.

A lovely find - this place had fabulous rooms,friendly staff and great food. The location was gorgeous and quiet .

The room was lovely and comfortable, but unfortunately despite advising of a late check in, when we arrived the hotel was locked, lights out and desk empty. We ended up calling the provided number and waited 10-15mins outside for someone upstairs to turn on the lights and come out to show us our room. They then advised us of the wrong breakfast times, so we missed the breakfast and but were provided with tea, coffee and toast. We did not receive an apology during our visit for the service. In communications since, the Assistant Operations Manager confirmed he waited for us, however his time leaving was at the time we arrived.
