"Fantastic Stay"

My husband and I had the best time during our stay at this beautiful, welcoming, CLEAN hotel in downtown Charleston! The amenities were fantastic and the rooms were a good size and the space was well-used. At check-in, Rafael showed us around and took us to our room. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and started our stay off on great footing. We will be recommending this hotel to all of our friends - local and out of town!

"Great location and service"

The Loutrel is in a great location right in the middle of downtown. But it's quiet at night. Breakfast was very good and so was the service. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

"Bespoke and boutique, but humble elegance and luxury!"

My wife and I celebrated our 38th anniversary at The Loutrel. We have been so busy caring for parents and children the last 10 years, we've neglected anniversary trips (our custom since marriage). We decided we wanted to visit a historic city with a great culinary and historic culture, and we wanted to go a luxury (and quieter) boutique hotel. We hit the jackpot with both! Charleston is wonderful, and The Loutrel with its amenities and staff made this much needed trip a time to celebrate and to remember our last 38 years together.

"Wonderful experience at the Loutrel"

We enjoyed our stay at The Loutrel. The rooms were so nice with all the amenities you need. Including waters and snacks that are included with the room. Complimentary breakfast was nice. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience even better. Rafael was always available to help with whatever we needed. Highly recommend!
