The Loutrel

Our group stayed at The Loutrel for a corporate offsite and we couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. Everyone was so impressed by the gorgeous interiors and comfortable rooms. We appreciated all the amenities, especially the gym and complimentary breakfast. The meeting room was exactly what we needed and the lunch buffets were both absolutely delicious. The entire staff was so friendly and accomodating, especially Brenda and Tasha. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hotel and meeting space.

The place is charming, every tiny detail was love for my soul. Clean, nice, very confortable. The staff is amazing. Would go back to charleston just to stay at this place again!

The staff is extremely warm and welcoming, especially Rafael Abreu who greeted us at the car and was incredibly helpful in getting us settled in the room and providing an understanding of the hotel. The room is spacious, comfortable, spotless and well appointed. An absolutely fantastic property with the staff to match. This was our second visit, we will return!

The Loutrel is a lovely boutique hotel. Every detail from the layout to furnishings was so well thought through. Every employee was warm and professional…a rare combination. It was a lovely stay and we will return.

A beautiful hotel. Clean, beds are amazing, staff outstanding. Every amenity you could ask for. Perfect location. Everything is very walkable. Great shops. Rafael Abreu at the door is the best!!! Very friendly and informative. A bit pricy but worth it.

We had the best time at the Loutrel! It’s our third year in a row staying at this beautiful boutique hotel! Everyone was so helpful and accommodating .. from our valet (Rafael) to the bartender, to our sweet server in the lobby at happy hour. This is definitely our favorite hotel in Charleston! The rooms are beautiful and clean, the rooftop is a special place to relax, an awesome gym and delicious snacks. Everything you can ask for. Highly recommend it!

From you pull up to the hotel and walk in, it’s welcoming and inviting. They have a lovely swing seat in the lobby which was relaxing to sit on and enjoy the ambiance in the lobby. The room was spacious, clean and the bed extremely comfortable; I slept like a baby! The double sink in the bathroom was a blessing. Annecia at the guest check in was friendly, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. She made great recommendations and made my fiancé and I feel special. We had trouble with the TV, called down to get assistance and Annecia came to our room within minutes and fixed the issue; she’s definitely the definition of excellent customer service, which is hard to find nowadays. We will definitely return.

Wonderful hotel. Great location in downtown area. Big comfortable rooms. Excellent staff. Loved the breakfast and the snacks later in the day. Highly recommend.

It is beautiful hotel! Rooms were clean & everyone is so nice from the time of check in to check out. Annexiq helped us with carriage ride tours & other info Riley the bar tender “what would Carrie think” drink he recommended was amazing ! A big Thank you to y’all for a great time in Charleston!
